Working in stoneware, Linda Meyer's clay forms are designed for daily use and also extend into special occasions. They are hand thrown/hand built through a number of stages over a typical course of 3 weeks. All patterns carved into the clay are created freehand. Glazes are made using a 'recipe' of natural minerals. The process concludes with the pots being fired in an electric kiln to approximately 2200 degrees Fahrenheit. Her pieces are oven, microwave, and dishwasher safe. Do not use over open flame or electric burner. Using a broiler may cause the rim to crack.
